OT question Mike,

But what wheels are those on the car pictured? They are really nice looking.

Back on topic... What flywheel would you recommend to pair with this clutch for a car that is all street driven? - I presume dual mass but do you think the OEM or other?

I'm looking for a complete package with clutch and flywheel if you could pm or email me sir.

Thank you,

Chris.

I think Tech1? It has been a while. IIRC the company is no longer around.

As for the flywheel, well that could go either way. Also, the OEM is a dual mass set up.

This clutch kit will work with the OEM or a lightweight flywheel cut to work with an OEM clutch kit.

The LWFW is a really nice upgrade. Heel/Toe downshifts are easier, the car spins up quicker, and throttle response is snappier. The downsides? At idle is sounds like there are marbles running around in the transmission.

Since you are removing the dampening characteristics of the OEM dual mass flywheel, you will hear all of the gear chatter in the transmission.

If you can get past that sound, the great! If you like the quiet, then this is not for you.

If you have further questions, or would like to order, shoot me an email with your full name and address. I can prepare and estimate for your review.

Thanks for the clarification Mike. I knew the OEM flywheel was dual mass, I was more wondering if there were any aftermarket options that are also dual mass?

I will reach to you via email so as not to clog up your sale thread sir.

Thank you,

Chris.

Ah, ok. I misunderstood.

I am unaware of an aftermarket dual set up.

Also, reach out to me in the thread or email. No worries. The thread is nice so those that are not familiar with this stuff can learn!

Ok, thanks. How would the Sachs 2.5 kit compare with a Clutchmasters Stg 3 clutch in terms of drivability and ability to hold power?

HIX,

We have never sold, endorsed, installed any Clutchmaster kit. So I cannot comment on any aspect of it.

We can however state with confidence that Sachs is the OE supplier of what is in the car now. The kit we are selling is from their Motorsport Division known as Sachs Racing. They are a supplier to many race teams and to Porsche Motorsport.

We have bene using this kit succesfully for many years. Not a single complaint or warranty issue, either.

This kit will hold up to 750hp with stock pedal feel and driveability.

I encourage you to do some reasearch on this forum for the "Sachs Stg 2.5" kit. You will find an overwhelming positive response.

Shoot me an email if you want to talk further!

Thanks Mike!

I don't see a price for an OEM Porsche flywheel. Are those available?

Yes, I can source those for sure, but prices sometimes fluctuate on those. That is why we do not list it on the site.

If you want a quote for one, shoot me an email with your full name, shipping address, and what you want. I can prepare a proper estimate with all the costs and email it.

Hope this is helpful!
