Wow, that's a lot of steps...Here is my process

Detail spray or CA duster on the car
Apply Rejex
Wait 12hrs then drive

I've never used a Bucket and Hose on my car.

I wash every Saturday... during the week use the California duster and griots speed shine on bugs and grime... and use RejeX once a month.

I get pretty good results:

My take, through experience on various cars.

Rejex is crap. It looks great for a few days and quickly wears off.

Zymol is total crap. It never looks good, is gone within a month and costs an arm and a leg. They sell the product to suckers who think that paying more means you get more.

Carnubas are decent, deep shine, a pain to apply properly.

Zaino, properly applied (use the accelerator if you are not patient) has the deepest shine and last much, much longer than any other waxes.

Longhorn911,
Looks great, the only thing I would suggest is to ditch the microfiber mitt and use a boar's hair brush instead. Here's a review of various mf products Microfiber review they conclude mf is great for everything but mitts. I'll be trying the Rejex as soon as it arrives. Menzerna's new FMJ also sounds good.

Kirby:
I understand how a CA duster works. But what do you do when the car gets dirty? I mean really dirty. Like when you have to drive through the rain. Do you still use the CA duster? I can't imagine how you get the car clean without washing it. Car wash soaps provides some lube so that when your cleaning the car you don't swirl the hell out of the clear getting the dirt, bugs, and grime off.

When is gets too dirty for the CA duster I just use a towel and detail spray to clean the car. With RejeX, so far it hasn't gotten to the point where I needed to actually wash the car.
