Is there a way to lock the stock C2 wing in the up position?
Did a search and couldn't find anything. I like the way it looks up and don't really want to keep pushing buttons to keep it where I want it.

Yes , it's a stationary wing made for the cab. offered begining in 02 i believe, for models produced from 8/01 and on, porsche part #000-044-802-04. will fit all carrera models. it's also made by a couple of aftermarket companies.
for cars produced before 7/01, #000-044-801-90.

andrew / dog,
you sound as bad as me with the whole wing thing. to keep the wing up, just add one 50mg tablet of Viagra to the gas and it stays up. no really though, first use the button to bring the wing and then open the deck lid, there is a black cable on the passengerside of the deck lid shock, disconnect this cable and ta da, fixed wing.

thanks e. this will hold me over. between the wheels, suspension, and now the unplanned caliper fiasco...no money left in the budget for wings.
e: does unplugging the wire trigger the spoiler error?
i'm not really wild about the stock wings. they're okay. still looking for a good "whale tail" wing. maybe next year when my budget recovers
