How much of a drop is that?

Do yourself a favor...go coilovers....If you do springs only, you will wear out your shocks, then you will have to go back and get new shocks...2 installs. Overall you will spend about the same money, but if you get coilovers you can determine your drop, and you can adjust your shock damping giving you a smoother ride....I had a REAL nice drop on 19s, but a very smooth ride...better than stock on 18s.....I had Bilstein PSS9s...also rubbing on 19s is misleading...what are your offsets? That will determine if you rub...the wrong offsets on 17s will rub....When you go 19s you are getting a tire with less sidewall so the overall diameter of the wheel/tire is about the same...so its really the offset of the wheels that determine if you rub or not. My wheels were 19x11 rear et67 and 19x8 fronts et57 with a 15mm spacer effectively an et42.

I have h&r on 19"s. Looks good. But Newport996 is right, that you should do the coilover system to get a better drop and ride.

another vote for PSS9's... if you can stick your finger between the tire and fender... its too high!
