PSS10 Problem, fronts won't adjust???

Just had new PSS10's installed. Front dampers wont adjust, gets to a point after a clockwise turn then just stops. I tried with the car jacked up and sitting on the ground. Rears are just fine, clicked into each detent.

Anybody heard of this or had similar problem that can be resolved easily?

Thanks,
Roc

wish i could help, but curious as to the diff between pss9 & pss10? thanks

pss9 have 9 settings, pss10 have 10 settings. sounds to me like you should give Bilstein a call, they are usually very helpful.

It sounds like the nut below the adjuster is a little tight causing the adjustment wheel to bind. You can lossen the nut slightly.

Thank you!

I'll try that.

Didn't help unfortunately.

In contact with Bilstein, they still don't know what could be wrong either.

Update:

Spoke with Bilstein. I now have to have both fronts removed and sent to them for inspection as to why they don't adjust.

that sux!.... I take it, it wont adjust even it is off the car?

I've got 10's and have had no problems. There is a stop at either end of the adjustment range. So, if you turn all the way to 10, it will stop and not go any further. Same down to 1. Is your dial locked in place and won't turn at all?

The best analogy I can give is that it feels like screwing in a lug bolt, no detents. You can unscrew it all the way out until the adjustment knob comes out in your hand along with the push rod that sits inside the damper. When you put it back in I get about 3 full rotations on the knob until it hits the stop pin. Frustrating huh?

Quite odd. Sounds like the adjustment knob isn't linking up with whatever it should to click thru the settings. Bilstein should warranty that for you.

Yeah, I hope so. The bummer is that it has to come back apart, wait for the repair, and then re-install/align.

Saw you may be at the DE at Blackhawk in Sept., may see you there if the car is ready....
