2003 996 C4S Catalytic Converter

Bonjour,

When I first take my C4S out on the road I get a clattering sound as the engine starts to warm up. It disappears after the engine warms. Could this be from the catalytic converter warming up? My repair shop guy thinks its the valves getting lubricated. Should I have this checked out?

If something doesn't sound right, don't you think it's a good idea to have it checked out by your "repair shop guy"?

wonder what the percentage of c4s owners have this clattering on start-up? a 2003 c4s at that....

For this scenario the percentage can be calculated using libor minus 2% compounded hourly.
