Wow! Now I'm seeing how different they are. There's a set of Cargraphic and HRE wheels that look a bit similair but upon closer inspection, yours are more intricate in the center. Very very cool. You shoulda stuck yours into the mix with us

I'm never knocking the Scion! I love those..

I use simple green on most of my customers wheels and stuff, it's one of the best wheel cleaners out there (it has no acid's in it, hell that **** is safe enough to drink). I've tried alot of different cleaners and haven't seen any ruin a set of wheels. Any chance he tried to polish them? I could see A2Z wheel cleaner doing some damage if you left it on for 20 minutes or so.

Hell it came in like 5th place on Guru Reports wheel cleaner test.

Sorry about your misfortunes.

Just a bad year..... We have been safe since 1921 in this area.. (Hear me knocking on wood)... We need a new addition to the crew... Don't let mother nature scare you away....

It is a great place to live.... Once here you will all love it...

No state tax, cheaper cost of living...

Just means more toys Bill... Although it sounds like you have enough already...

Plus I was hoping that the commission that Penelope made on your house would get me an inside track for the crack.... oops.. did I say that...

I heard from Mario (Magic Wax) today. Thanks to Allen at SG, Albert at CEC, and Michael at ByD for their assistance.

Mario was VERY apologetic. He acknowledged his mistakes, including most importantly not communicating with me, and took responsibility for them. He promptly came to my office and inspected the damaged piece of plastic on my car. Thereafter, he contacted the dealer, ordered a new part, and promised to replace it as soon as possible. I had already taken the sunglasses in for repair and, while they are not perfect, they are good enough. Mario has promised to detail my car twice at no cost.

I appreciate Mario stepping forward and taking responsibility for his actions. He owned up, apologized, commenced remedial action, and offered compensation in the form of two free details. Assuming he follows through, the dispute is resolved.

That's great... But chances are if it was not for the intervention of others you would still be in the same situation....

I would run from this guy....

There is absolutely no way I would let that guy detail my car, even for free.

No kidding, if he did that bad of a job getting paid, I'd hate to see how bad the job would be if he wasn't getting paid...

Its aggrevating enough that he didn't do it right the first time, but he sounds like he's trying to make things right by you. I'd still be worried though.

Since I am pretty meticulous to start, and wouldn't let just anyone clean my car, I always try and exceed what I would expect someone to do for me. Hasn't failed me yet *knocks on wood*

Messing up the rims on the BMW, that's just not cool. I don't care what product you use, you always have to be careful. If there is even a question/doubt that they might be delicate, why risk it? When in doubt just take the extra time and do it the old fashioned way and use a fresh bucket of the soap for the paint and water.
