What's a realistic price on a '04 911 coupe?

I'm wanting to sell my '04 coupe (not special edition) but it's loaded to the max w/ tiptronic trans, 25,000 miles, and a bunch of other stuff. Curious what other guys have seen '04 coupes sell for? It's a 2WD. I think about a year ago it could have gone for around $50K. It still has only 25K miles, so I'm hoping that will help it. ;o)
Thanks.

somewhere between $35k and $40k.

There's a really nice 40th anniversay '04 for sale on Rennlist that's down to $36K and has been on the market for a few months now. It's loaded and obviously has all of the preformance options (X51 and LSD) too and still it sits at that amazing price.

Unless you're willing to take low 30's for it I'd be prepared to wait for some time in this current marke.

I don't even want to imagine what I'd have to price my car at to sell it right now.

I think this is about right. IMO a tip will lower the value. Is it still warrantied/CPO? That could help up the price some. I'd say realistically mid 30's is probably what it would pull

I have to agree with Audion19s. Selling your toy in current market is scary. Keep it if you can.

Keep it!!

996's are like the housing market! Good time to buy, but bad time to sell! Keep it!!! Patience will pay off in the long run.

Because the value of the car is gonna go up? Negative.

Your car won't appreciate. I say it tops off at 35k.

I don't think you are right about this. 997s are in the high 30s already and have a reputation for being a much more solid car than the 996. Boxsters are mid teens now. I think the value of the 996 is stuck in the in between the two in the 20s. In a year, a 2004 will be a solid 20s car. A 2004 cab sold on ebay last week for 28.

I agree with you. However many sellers would disagree.

I have contacted many owners and dealers that are asking IMO unrealistic prices and they mostly say they will hold out till prices rebound.

the next few months will be very interesting
