It's not exclusive to the C4S model ... it's under warranty, get it fixed and try to not to worry about it. As well, do a search on this subject, lots and LOTS of information.

PS Are you in Walnut, or is that Walnut Creek, Ca? If so, the dealer there provides GREAT service. Talk to Eric...and tell him I sent you.

I had a RMS leak on my '04 C2 at 7K miles. Could be that, or a few other things leaking. I'd bet on the RMS, though. Here's a thread with info:

My 03 C4S uses a quart every 1500 mi, never a drop of oil under the car, bone dry on the lift. Dealer said it was normal, I don't think it is. I have19k on it.

My car is burning a quart or two every 200 to 400 miles. I'd kill to have it burn a quart every 1500 miles. From what I've read and heard this is normal.

These cars are not perfect. But thus far I still love mine.

If you use a quart of oil every 500 miles, something is wrong. I have 4500 miles on my Pcar and it hasn't used a drop.

If you drive it hard it might use a quart every 1000-2000 miles.

Each car is going to be a bit different, but a quart an oil every 1000-1500 miles is very normal.

Cool

13,000 miles and I haven't used any oil. Changed it at 10,000.

I followed breakin guidelines.

I wonder if how the car was broken in matters, I followed the break-in rules 100% (yes, I'm a nerd) and so far no oil added at 3500 miles, others?

My C4 only needed a quart every 10000 miles. If you're burning a quart every 200-400 miles, something is SERIOUSLY WRONG!!!!!

I had an RMS and an cam seal leak on my C4. They both happened at about 33K miles as best I can figure.
