I am about to post my car up in the classified and I was wondering what is a reasonable amount to sell my 1999 C2 6speed. Its silver with black interior and the only mod I have left on it is the PSS9 and clarion mp3 player. 62k miles, front bumper could use a fresh paint job on it but otherwise decent shape.

I do realize the market is terrible now but I need to unload this car. I was thinking 22-23k?

I find that kbb have always been unreliable, for example kbb shows my BMW 528i private party at over 8k but the market its around 5-6k. Another example is E46 shows as its worth 13k on kbb but the market is averaging 18-20k.

 

I own 99 996 C2 Cab w very low miles and 01 engine, was hoping to hear that price is at least mid to high 20's.... How many miles do you have on you c2?

 

I have just under 62k miles.

FYI- avg wholesale is in the mid teens for 60k miles. If you need to sell quick, I woulnt go much over 20k. Dealers are buying them for mid teens and can certify them and be in the low to mid 20's. Just my .02 as a previous GM at a Porsche dealer. Good luck.

 

why the sigh? $20k for a tip? with undisclosed miles?? That isnt very low...... seems to be about right...a 6 speed would be slightly higher which is what everyone is saying. mid to low $20's

 

Thats a tip which would be worth a lot less in my opinion.
