1/4 mile info for 03 996 C4S?
#2
I ran 13.801 as the best run at a speedway. Other times were within a blink. Ran with half full tank and I tip the scales at 210. I think with more aggressive starts and shifts (worried about the clutch) could get times down to 13.5 range but not much better than that. Car mags use professional drivers and don't really care what they do to the equipment.

For what its worth, I subscribe to the major US auto mags and keep a running database of the best times and trap speeds I see for certain sports car models (I know-way too much time on my hands). The best I've seen for the 996 normally aspirated (non-GT3) since its intro in 99:
0-60 4.6 0-100 11.3 1/4 mile 13.2@107 0-150 33 seconds standing mile 33.0@150.3. This was probably a RWD model.
Other P-Car Bests:
993 N/A 13.3@104
1991 Turbo 911 12.9@11X
1994 3.6 Turbo 12.4@112.3
04 GT3 12.3@118
993 Turbo 12.1@114.1
996 TT 11.92@116.09
993 TT S 11.9@116.6
Autothority 993TTS2 11.8@118.6
Porsche 959 11.8@119
996 TT X50 11.86@119.91
996 GT2 11.7@121
Autothority 996 Stage V 11.8@129
(in very few instances, these stats may be the best ET matched with the best trap speed from two different tests)

This is probably a very old post, but I thought I would share my time, and see if anyone else can as well.
I ran my 2002 911 C4S about 5 times, and ran a very consistent 13.50 - 13.52. I tried launching at various RPM's from 2K to 5K, there really wasn't much of a difference in times. I was very dissapointed with the 60ft time of 2.2 sec, as I was expecting 2.0 or better.
The car did have a very bad wheel bearing, and 7 - 10 year old micheline pilot sports on which were likely very dry.
I have since put new hankooks on the car and fixed the wheel bearing, I'd love to see if that made any differnce at all, but likely not.

www.dragtimes.com is a great site, put in the car you are looking for, and it usually has it, or one really close to it. In this case,
13.530*# 103.200 Porsche 911 996 Carrera 4 2000 c4

Wow, I have a c2 but ran a 13.7 even though I missed 3rd gear.
