which wing for my cab?
With regards to down force, I believe the reason that Porsche advises against installing the rear wing without upgrading the front bumper is due to the misbalance caused by the increase in down force in the rear from the wing.
After seeing all combinations, this ers wing/turbo bumper seems one of the most balanced to me. It is interesting that the same bumper without that huge wing looks out of balance. The same wing without the turbo bumper might seem huge as well.
To me the stance is not really too aggressive but very balanced. The more I look at it, the more I see that it just works. I think the techart wheels have a lot to do with it as well due to their bold design that flows well with the boldness of the turbo bumper lines and the bold wing. If you go to the owner's page, he has a ton of pics on the car and there is another car in red as well. Both look very balanced.
I wonder how this wing would look with the GT3 MKII setup. With the MKI bumper probably would look good as it is a "thick" bumper.
You are correct. IF you are going fast. Remember that the spoiler does not come up until you hit 75mph or so anyway. At daily driver speeds nothing really matters. It starts getting noticeable above those speeds. 80 and up and you start noticing it.
Currently, I am losing interest in the TK and the Aero. And gaining interest in the ERS or no-wing. Leaning a bit towards no-wing. I am just letting time decide on which way to go and see which one wears off.
The problem with no wing is the car looks weird when the built in wing is extended...looks way to small.
Am I to understand you that the wing is the TK version?
Thanks,
