Anyone know when Steve Taub Porsche in Santa Monica CA closed?
 

Did it go on as an indie used car dealer? I'm piecing together the history of a car I'm looking at.

I don't recall what year it closed but i know an Audi dealer went into the location Steve Taub Porsche was at on Santa Monica Bl after it closed. Then about 2 years ago an independent Steve Taub used car lot - with mostly Porsches - opened at another location on Santa Monica Bl. It is no longer there now.

Thanks. I was looking at an '01 C4 that a local GM dealer bought in a lot of several cars when Taub closed. The dealer has no service records for it, the low mileage on the odo doesn't match wear, so I passed on it because the car's past is just too murky.
