Gear oil choices?

Wondering what you guys are using for Transmission gear oil on 6 speed manuals? I can get the OEM stuff, but I have always had good luck with other oils like redline, etc in my older 901 gear boxes. The 996 is still kind of foreign to me.

Any suggestions?

+1 on that. I used Mobil 1 Syntethic when I changed my gear oil last week. Shifting is smooth again.

I have been using Redline in my BMW's. I will be changing the 996's fluids this summer and will go with Redline or Royal Purple. I have also used Mobil 1 for years in my boat.
Lots of good stuff out there.
