License plate light won't turn on (good bulbs)
I left my engine lid on for a day and I noticed my license plate light stop working. I tested the bulbs and the are good it lit up. What could it be?

The fuse is fine and not blown A5 or A8 Canada. I will look in daytime if the wires had touch a hot part.

Here's a wierd one. Maybe your car is Canadian. If so, if is required to have daytime running lights. If a previous owner decided he didn't like the DRLs hemay have removed the relay that controls the DRL...it also controls the license plate lights.
If you check on this forum and on Rennlist you'll find that there is not an easy hack for turning off DRLs and having license plate lights. You have to have the relay installed. |
It was working now it stopped. The car is not Canada made.
