2003 C2 Loose Steering
 

I have 2003 C2 with 44k miles and 19" wheels, I had the wheels road balanced and the front end aligned. My question is that my steering feels very loose, seems like i have a lot of play in the steering wheel. I had my mechanic look at the suspension components and saw nothing loose. Can anyone please guide me in the right direction to rectify this. Thank you

A couple of issues to check:

Perhaps your alignment settings are still off? What are your specs? I would check the toe settings. They should have done a four-wheel alignment to check the thrust angle and rear camber/toe settings.

Do the tires have uneven wear?

Check the lower control arms again and check the bushings too.

Steering tie rods. $250 for the set (left and right, inner and outer) from Suncoast. Aligment a must after install...
