I know what you mean! A couple of months ago, this 50+ year old lady made a huge scene at my work. I went inside to get my paycheck, and I come out and this lady is ranting on how this car is Awesome, Hot, and that she loves loves loves Porsches... etc... and she was loud about it! Ever since then, I look around for any older lady types before parking my car near work, lol

 

LOL... give it some time, I think you'll find a chick but the "hens" will always be there too.

Me too! I also find that I get alot more smiles and compliments when I'm driving with the top down than up. I guess because it just looks so much hotter topless. Everything looks better topless! I even find that I get noticed alot when I'm putting the top down, like when I'm driving in slow moving traffic or at a redlight. People pull up next to me after I put the top down and smile or say NICE!

LOL! For me, a chick is any girl not over 40! hehe

 

Thanks everyone for posting their comments and stories on this thread I started. I'm glad that most of you can relate to the comment and question that I posted. Since everyone is sharing, I thought I'd share a story... sorry if its a bit long winded, but I tend to write detailed stories, especially when I'm bored at work... like right now, lol

The only time I actually picked up a girl because of my Porsche was two summers ago driving back from the mall. I was driving home from the mall one day and I was stuck in stop-n-go traffic because on this day, everyone decided to leave the beach at the same time... ugh. Anyways... this white BMW convertible (1 Series) pulls up next to me filled with 5 cute girls (3 in the back and 2 up front). All of them wave and smile at me! So I wave and smile back at them. One of the girls in the back yells out... "I love your car! Can I get a ride?!". I just smiled and said thanks, lol. A few minutes later she yells out again... "Can I get a ride please? It's crowded back here!" I said, ok... so she hops over her friends (she was sitting in the ***** seat) and hops into mine... literally! She doesn't even open the door but the way she hopped into my car was hot! like her! I told her "The way you hopped/slid into my car was hot! You must have done that before because it looked like you knew what you were doing!" She then told me... "I can show you alot of things I can do in your car!" Well this of course peaked my interest even more! lol As we were getting acquainted and driving in the slow *** stop-n-go traffic, her 4 cute friends were taking pictures of us, or should I say.. taking pictures of her as she was striking a few funny and sexy/provocative poses back at their cameras. Even taking a picture of her kissing me on the cheek! In my head I'm thinking... Can I get a copy of that pic?! lol

We pull into her driveway and I notice a brand new Range Rover and Mercedes Benz CLK AMG and a HUGE HOUSE! This chick has $$ or should I say, her family has $$. We chit chatted for a bit and then she invites me into her house and hang out by the pool and go for a swim. I asked for a rain check because I wasn't prepared to go swimming coming back from the mall and all. She then tells me... "Don't worry, you can borrow my brother's swim trunks". In my head I'm thinking... "Ewwww, are you freakin' kidding me!? Hell no!" But what I actually said was.. "No, no thank you, maybe next time". She then asked me if I wanted a water because she was going to grab one in her house. I told her, yeah, that would be great.

She goes into her house and she comes back out 2 bottles of water... and her Dad and brother!! Meanwhile, I'm thinking... "What is this? Sh*t! What do I do now?!" She then introduces me to her Dad and brother and tells me that they just wanted to check out my Porsche because they saw us pull into the driveway earlier. At first I was a bit scared about how she would introduce me to her Dad and brother. But she just told them that I used to date her friend Courtney and they saw me driving ... yada yada yada. Good thing her Dad believes everything his little princess tells him, but I'm not sure her brother believed her... oh well, lol Her brother was undecided on what car to get for his 21st Birthday... that is until he saw the Porsche. Her Dad and brother checked out the car inside and out. Even asking me for a ride. I told them it's a bit difficult for 3 people to ride in my car, so I just offered her Dad the keys and told him that he could take it out for a spin and have junior ride shotgun (since her brother didn't know how to handle a manual transmission). This of course made me look very good in front of my new found cute friend! As they drove off, both of them smiling ear to ear... Heather and I exchanged numbers and told me that we should definitely hang out again. I told her that I think we should too! Dad and brother come back 10 minutes later, all smiles, and thank me for the "awesome" experience. Her dad tells me that the next car he will buy will be a Porsche 911 Convertible! His brother wants one too, but Dad says that junior will have to settle for a BMW since they cant have 2 Porsches in their garage, lol.

Heather and I ended up going out on a few dates... nothing too serious. I even got to hang out with her friends again at a Pool Party that her Dad invited me to. Who couldn't pass up a good steak cooked out by the pool and hanging out with a bunch of Heather's cute friends in bikinis? Not me! lol. I never did get "any" from Heather... damn virgins! But to this day Heather and I remain good friends.... all because of a Porsche.

 

I was trolling through the parking lot at our local mall this past summer a few weeks after picking up my Porsche. Got a yell, and whistle from a smokin hot MILF. I mean she was so hot... I had to stop.. She jumped right in the passenger seat, put her left hand on my leg, and said..


"thanks hun" you're early..... I got steak for dinner..

so my wife and i drove home.

With the porsche I have had only guys follow me to gas stations/coffee shops/anywhere to park really just to have a look at the car. Haven't had one girl yet to follow me or spark a convo about my porsche. But once a long time ago with my first 911 C2S a girl had come up to me and asked what mods I did to my civic to make it look so nice LOL. Sad but true.

Different story with Lambo's and F-cars though, even in Dubai/NYC where it seems everything is an exotic.

 

Depending on my mood, I often say I'm a "Facilities Manager". If they want me to expand on it, I tell them that I clean poop from people like them that leave it behind. Everyone's gotta poop sometime and people have to clean it. Job security.

 

Again - I modded or non stock looking 996 like adan's WILL pull chicks and attention sooner or later..of course not no F-Car or Lambo level but it will...and i'm in socal!

Flipmo- Great story! Its the one that eventually gets you that counts where it was just due to the car...

Comments I've gotten recently:
- after blasting through a tunnel ..."youre not doing that again without me in it"
- at a popular strip mall with curb parking from a woman telling husband..."I would of married you sooner if you had that car"

with all due respect to everyone, its also not just the car but the driver as well!

 

Very interesting read. I don't have a porsche yet but hopefully I'll get to join the club soon and have at the least some entertaining stories to share.

Just as a side note my buddies girlfriend is really into older porsches from the 70s and earlier, she actually gets rather excited talking about them. She truly is a car nut and I joke my friend that I would be dating her if he wasn't haha

 

2 yrs driving in NYC and I get 0 attention from women. They seem not to know what the car is. I do get attention from folks I rather not get attention from though
