Midnight blue shows too many scratches...My frined had an 01 C4 cab in it and it was a pain to keep looking good...
Too purple too....Also, since it is a special color it will cost you 3K more
Lapis better - or if you want a special color go COBALT!!!

I agree all the Porsche Blues show alot of scratches...I would stick w/Yellow, Bassalt or Straight Black and Silver. Porsches factory paint is not that great therfore I nver ventured beyond the standard 2 Black or Silver.

Yes my car is Midnight Blue and it shows everything. The day the car arrived I was so pissed off and had to spend like $1000 to get them buffed out it was rediculous. Midnight blue also shows dirt, everytime you drive it you can see road dust all over it. It's a beautifull color and worth it if you really like blue, but just do your best to take care of it or you will regret it. Also if you're one of those people that doesnt really care about the condition of their car it is fine.

Yep, I'm just painting my bumper....

I love midnight blue, but yep you breath near it and it scratches. I swore I'd never buy metallic again after the My orient red boxster. I was planning on Yellow for the 996 if I was going to order back in 03', but took one off the lot since it was a really good deal(BTW, Yellow was the of my old 930 turbo slant nose and my current 924 race car) and is the best colour for a porsche as it doesn't show dirt as bad as a white car and doesn't scratch easily.

Thanks, everyone I want to make my bumper decision this week and am now between a Gt3 MKII bumper, GT3RS MKII bumper or a GT2 bumper.

GT2 bumper would look great, but only if you changed out your rear bumper to the squarer turbo bumper.

I'd say the GT3RS front bumper; hopefully you can do the full GT3 RS carbon fiber wing in the back...

I already have a GT3 MKII wing on the back. I guess I could just change the blade to the RS blade, but that might be too "poser"

My only concern with the GT3RS bumper is the cutouts could be weaken the top part of the bumper structure, but I'm not sure. Also they would not be very functional.
