Differences between '02, '03 and '04 996's?
 

What are the differences between the '02, '03 and '04 996's? I'm sure there were at least some minor improvements during this period, and I'm interested in knowing what these are.

Is there anyway to tell one year's car from the next?

In 2003, the MOST bus was added to the stereo systems in all 911's and PCM II replaced the original system. One new color joined the palette (Dark Teal Metallic) and one faded away (Rain Forest Green).

In 2004, two new colors join the palette (Carmon Red and Atlas Grey). Also in 2004, Meridian moves to special order only and Orient Red and Zanzibar fade away.

Lots of small options have been added such as thicker steering wheel, storage bin lid with Porsche crest, etc.
