New wheels with night pic's

I finally installed my new wheels and went for a quick test spin tonight. These are 19" Rennen M Mesh forged monoblock's. I dropped about 10 lbs total unsprung weight with this move and noticed the improved difference in performance right away. They are finished with a brushed face and gloss black windows, then clear coat. Spec's are:

Front 19 x 8.5 ET 40 ~21 LBS, Pirelli 235/35/19
Rears 19 x 11 ET 58 ~22 LBS, Pirelli 305/25/19

The offsets are about as aggressive as you want to get it on a 996 C2 without rubbing or modded fenders. I'm lowered to GT3 height on JIC Coilovers.

How do you like those 25 tires in the rear? I've heard it really makes a harsh ride.

Tarek307 Jun 30, 2011 12:32 PM

Nice...but also loved the old ones

Looks Great! Glad you're enjoying them. The weight savings is extremely noticeable, as I found with the set I just got. Keep it coming with some more pictures if you can!

I've been running 305/25/19 for a few years so I'm use to the stiff ride. No problem and I like the low profile look. They are one of the best plus size tires when trying to maintain the ratio with stock circumference which is important. The problem can be finding them and physically getting them on the rim. My installer just blew the bead on a brand new one trying to install it...I now own a $250 paperweight:mad:

Great looking aggressive stance. Do you have any problems with the front or rear tires rubbing?
