You might have luck at a dealer or one of the online tools, but you next best bet might be to get the owner to give you a picture or list of the options listed both a.) under the hood on a sticker and b.) in the maintenance book on a sticker. Those are the only 100% verifiable ways to get the info.

Also carfax is a good idea.

You can run the vin through a decoder, and they will list some options. Here are a couple of them:

It always annoyed me that the online tools don't find all the options.
I'Ve had good luck with the 2 likes above.. Well except for the few unknown codes. :-)
