I'm not familiar with that brand. However, you typically get what you pay for...

Thanks Dennis, that is a good way to put it. Clearly you can end up spending over 2k. or more for a different brand name. Uhmmm, wondering if anyone else have heard of these?

Cheers

I'm not sure that you get any significant benefit even if you do spend $2K. There seems to be lots of debate about this particular subject. I think that headers in conjunction with other exaust and intake upgrades might make a difference. Headers alone? Not sure...

i researched for a while and it seems the general concesnus was that the stock headers are very good and you wont see any benefits with aftermarket, whether combined with exhaust or not

iirc

Youll want to stay away from OBX. They make crappy items mainly to the Honduh crowd. I was really surprised they were trying to tap into the Porsche market. They even have LSD for our cars.

I'm willing to bet you will either lose hp or stay the same with these.

Interesting, think I'll keep my stock headers and keep the fabspeed sport mufflers and cats, and eventually change the oval tips for dual ones.

They're on ebay for cheaper. They also look like most of the other cheap ebay ones which are up for 100-200. 2 piece pipe, sloppy non smooth flanges would keep me away although I've never run this brand so I'm just speculating.
There are many many other header options that are way under 1k. You don't have to spend "over 2k".
Honestly, I can't really tell if they added more power. I do know for sure they've changed the sound though as in slightly louder but more refined.

I forget what the factory piping is....I believe 42.5mm?
The x51 uses 48mm piping so....definitely more air flow out...
Most aftermarket headers are 44.5mm ish

Any header manufacturer that sells the same designed headers for the 3.4L, 3.6L and GT3 is selling untested, not-reliable performance inducing products!!!! This is fact. Proper headers designed for "performance increases" are not the same design for all three applications...

Headers on these cars are pretty much just a waste of money, sorry! The stock headers are very good and you really can't get much more power out of these engines without going to an X51 package or adding a turbo. Porsche did a very good job from the factory of maximizing the power out of the engine.

Oh well, got an amazing deal. Does anyone else agree with Jones?
