Odd tire wear after de events

So after 3 de events I noticed my front and read D/ side tires are wearing odd. The outside of the tire tread is higher and almost has a lip. The tire tread on no longer evenly flat. P/Side front and rear show even wear. The tires did get heated and I actually felt losing grip. These were brand new only about 500 miles on them before my DE and about 1000 total.
any thoughts would be great. These are th Hankook V12's

I've never had any tire issues after events so It's likely that you're events had nothing to do with your tire wear. Have the alignment checked. How did your previous tires wear and how many miles did you get from the set?

You got the tires too hot and overdrove them. They don't look any worse than they do when we test them on our track. Driving them that hard does that too them because they move so much under the car. They are not ruined, but that will not improve.

Cool

Soft cushy ride......but the sidewalls are kinda soft for track days.

You got them too hot and the tread started cupping.

Were most of the hard turns to the right?

Yeah, that's a pretty bad tire. I have them on my car now because the PO put them on. They are practically new but I can't wait to replace them.

Well, PO was PO, so look at Sumitoma, or Kumho..FOR street sport driving. Track is a very different animal and to be Frank (although my name is Jim) to track you need different rims with track tires.
Oh, I wouldn't go wit pilot sports 2X the afformentiond reccomendations.

Yup most of the track was right turns. So my question is it safe to drive on the street with the wear like this? The car doesn't feel any different

Initially, probably not, but you will eventually feel the ride deteriorate.

Any other people with V12 track issues? I've heard of shaving tires to even them out, but that was years ago with off road tires. Thoughts?

Shaving some tread depth off the tire will help to stbilize the treadblock and prevent some of the lateral movement that overheats a tire. Problem is, most shops won't shave a used tire. Debris in the treadblock will dull the blades. If you can find one that will do it, I would have it done.

Nonsense... Just go to a counter-clockwise track next weekend... (Laguna Seca might be a far drive...)

lol!

Seriously - it happens to tires with soft sidewalls.
