SM_ATL's 2003 Carrera Project
 

Here's the first post on my seal gray 2003 996 Carrera (base) build thread. I am a regular 6speed'er in the 991 section (see the the link to my 991S Journal in my signature) and have acquired a 996 with the project of making it a trackday car.
I pulled the trigger a couple of days ago on a 2003 Base 996, manual with short shifter. The car has 80,000 miles on the clock and is in great shape. I was impressed that it was pretty quick despite the fact that it 'only' has 320hp (for now...).

Looking forward to seeing what you do to the 996.

I have done almost everything possible to my C4S, with the exception of FI, with the intention of making it into a DE/track day toy.

Then I wound up taking a job where I travel 10 states, and never have time to do any events. :(
