Help for WTB 1st 996 - Canadian Buyer

Hi all. Not a 996 owner yet but looking to get my first taste soon! I posted this in the marketplace but not sure everyone looks there so I'm posting here to plead for help. Anything to steer me in the right direction is appreciated.

Canadian Buyer.

Looking for a well maintained (records required) 996 with an automatic transmission.

Prefer the 2002/2003 model but willing to consider earlier models.

Budget of $20,000-$22,500.

The closer to Canada the better (for shipping purposes) but I can arrange shipping if needed.

Wish List: Bose stereo, Aero Kit, Turbo Wheels, Xenon's.

Thanks for any and all help and or advice.

I would suggest that if you want to get a decent car with what you require for options you should add some to your budget, you are at the very low end especially for Canada, remember that if you buy in the US there will be duty and import tax to pay as well, I bought mine there and the selection is better and prices lower, but in the end you will probably come pretty close to the Can market price. You might want to Google "The Porsche Hunter", a fellow from Ontario who sources cars for clients mostly Porsche he has a list of cars daily on his website that he has found, It will give you an idea of what the values are right now.

Sorry, I should clarify. My budget is USD before all duties, import fees, etc. I understand the other costs associated with importing the vehicle. I did check out the Porsche Hunter just now and it seems that could be a big help. Thanks for that tip!

Check out Craigs List, you should be able to get a nice car for that. Be patient and keep looking, also, try ebay.
