Red Hot Chili Pepper in Texas

I took the advice of some of you and after some more haggling bought this 2002 C2. Two owner, 58k miles, black interior, nothing fancy just an ultra-clean, solid little car needing no apologies. I plan to upgrade the suspension, add some 19" wheels and tires, maybe a GT3 wing, tint the glass, add a Nav, on and on and on. Sold my Shelby Cobra and wanted a winter play toy and thought this would do the trick. I had an '88 Turbo that was a great car, hoping for some fun with this one (albeit much slower than the Turbo or the Cobra.)

In southern Arizona on the high-speed return home to Texas:

Well between Cobra forums, Tundra forums, Colt pistol forums, LG Washing machine forums, I figured something related to the toy might suffice. I did pick it expecting that would be the color I would buy.

Home safely, 1608 miles averaging 78 mph (while moving). It was a fun ride home, the car did great. Awfully quiet though, need to wake up the exhaust note.

ROAD TRIP = Best way to acquaint/bond with a new ride
Search for FISTER D mod for the stock pipes...great bang for the buck: http://fistermetalworks.com/Porsche_Stuff.php
Lots of sound clips on youtube but hopefully you'll meet someone local who did this mod so you can hear it in person.

Congrats on the purchase ChiliPepper !! It looks like you made a great choice in your purchase decision and glad you got to enjoy the trip back to Texas. Are you going to go with coilovers ? I would also think about changing to Clear Euro Side Markers. Enjoy and keep us updated.
