Front seat disassembly

I need a little help. How do you removed the backrests on the front seats? I'm talking about the back that pivots forward when you lift the levers on the headrest.

Reason I ask, I recently purchased a used set of front seats but I only need the backrest to the drivers seat. I've noticed what appears to be E12 torx bolts on either side of the seats. Do these have to be removed for the entire backrest to lift off? Will a 10mm socket work or will I need to purchase an E12 torx socket? Thanks for any help you can give.

I looked thru previous threads in this forum but nothing was availabe.

Bolts on seats are on there tight, don't use the wrong socket.

I had to stand on a breaker bar when adjusting GT3 seats bolts.

Thanks, I've been looking at the seats for the past 2 hrs and can't figure out how the backs are removed. Those bolts, with what looks like male torx heads, are weird. There are 6 "teeth/gears" spaced on it but there is an empty space where another "tooth/gear" should be. Just can't figure it out. Things like this make working on the Z06 a lot easier.

Surely someone has to have knowledge of how to take the seat back off.
