It takes TWO CHP's to bring ME down!

I missed my own drive!!!!

But in the end...it was really this. And if anyone ever thought anything else but an oil leak as to why I got my license plate....think again!! :D :D :D ...

(Will know more what it is Monday, as of right now, lost a few quarts on 101!!)

I want to thank everyone for coming out to the drive on Saturday, it was a pleasure meeting new faces and seeing old ones. I'm sorry I missed the drive...next time!

Robyn, heard about the mishap, hope it's a simple fix! We missed you on the drive!

sorry to hear that Robyn. RMS again??

Holger B Aug 15, 2005 01:44 PM

Robyn, sorry to see your sweet ride in that condition.

Unless the whole seal self destructed, it's unlikely that's a RMS.

Robyn, we really missed you girl. I was hoping to see you lead the fast pack to the marina. What a shame. Everyone was asking about your whereabouts.

But, better be stuck on 101 than on 35/84 :(

Maybe it's a sign. It's time to pull a trigger on a turbo ;)

newport996 Aug 15, 2005 02:06 PM

ouch...hope its not that bad...something simple....

djantlive Aug 15, 2005 02:12 PM

I was wondering where the whet spot was. hilarious Hope it's a busted oil line and nothing more. At least you've got a trusted place to fix it!

Bri Aug 15, 2005 02:43 PM

Sorry to hear about the drippage. Looking at the pic's, it was an awesome drive.

Robyn. If that is the oil below the left tailpipe, check the oil feed line for the SC. It is right above the number 1 sparkplug.

wyo996 Aug 16, 2005 12:29 PM

It looks exactly what happened to me. The oil feed line to your supercharger comes out of the block on the left rear of the block. It was a fairly simple fix but I had to pull the SC. I took pictures but never posted them. The clamp on a water line to the radiator coolant tank rubbed a hole in the oil feed line. I had oil sprayed all over my rear bumper and it looked like it was pouring out the exaust on the left, but it was coming from above. I only lost one quart of oil before I pulled over. The fix is a new oil line and I rotated the clamp away from the line and also put another bigger hose over the spot that was at risk. Good Luck, Will

Just a tip to anyone that drives around with Robyn....

STAY IN FRONT!!!!!

When I saw the pics I thought it was a James Bond-ish attempt to spray oil on the road to foil the bad guys! :)

Hope it is just a leaky oil line!
