Griot's products, RejeX, and KLASSE???

What's your opinion on these products? which of these three products is the better polish/wax? Just curious on what you guys and gals think.

I've used KLASSE for many years and think it's a great product but how does it compare to RejeX or Griot's products?

All I use is RejeX...Don't know about the other stuff

I use Rejex on the entire car, including the windows and wheels. It is a great product, keeps bugs from sticking, keeps the wheels brake dust free, and keeps the body slicker than snot. On top of this, I only have to wash the car once or twice a year. The rest of the time, all it takes is a wet wash rag to clean it up. Dirt, road grime and bugs just don't stick to it.

While there are many very good organic waxes, I don't think it is fair to compare them against Rejex. it just has too many advantages.

Don't listen to Gary, his car is always dirty....yuck.

hahah, I jest...he probably has the cleanest car in the WORLD!

I use Rejex not only my cars. My Weber BBQ stainless grill, my glass shower door, my kitchen stainless hood, ... all rejexed. Now, all of above clean up very easy.

I use rejex on a few things (bath tub, kitchen sink, counter tops, wheels) I do not use it on my paint though. Just didn't do much as far as looks go for me. It however protects well.

Personally, I like carnubas, they don't protect as well and don't last as long, but they are damn near close and they look fantastic. P21S is my favorite and has been for some time. But i'mr eally starting to like Natty's Paste

To answer your question, IMO I feel Klasse > Griots and Rejex. It is a fantastic product. I'm not a big fan of Griots liquids.

I tried Klasse a long time ago and didn't like it one bit. I am not sure if it's the same formulation but the one that I tried came in a silver metal container and it didn't really seem to do much for the paint. It's not like a regular wax or polish. It felt like rubbing some mineral oil on the paint and buffing it off.

I have had great results with a Porter Cable random orbital polisher and 3M swirl mark remover for dark cars followed by 3M glaze and Pinnacle Soverign. I usually end up with a completely swirl mark free surface even under a 500 watt halogen light. It's impossible to hide defects with a light like this. It shows everything. That's a very tough thing to accomplish on a black car. Maybe once a year I have to get a little more agressive and use a non-random orbit polisher and really get in there with a orange pad followed by a white pad but I try to stay away from that and stick with the 3M swirl mark remover and the random orbit polisher. I wasn't really thrilled with Griot's Best Of Show Wax or the Zymol system, and Zaino does absolutely nothing for swirl marks.

I'm a huge Rejex fan. Loved it so much we now carry it online. Amazing stuff.

Thanks for all your input, guys! It looks like RejeX is quite popular among the board members. I've heard a lot of positive comments from those who had used it.

KLASSE has been around for a long time and they haven't changed their formula since they made the switched in the early 90s. Personally, I much prefer the older formula; it was more potten and provides a glossier finish. The current one is a bit weak and has been around for a bit long now.

Think I'm going to give RejeX a try and see how it compares with KLASSE. I'll provide an update in a month or two.

Jackson, if you like I have a few bottles of Rejex at home, I can bring one to the shop for you to try out.

syaero Sep 3, 2005 05:20 PM

Kirby, I thought I saw some at the shop. If you guys carry it, I'll pick up a bottle tomorrow as I'll be dropping by. If not, bring me a bottle and I'll pay you for it.

Appreciate the offer!
