No one?

is this basically a muffler bypass?

Most people just run muffler bypass pipes. Super easy to install and revert back if you want the quiet sound again. I ran a cutout on my 2J IS300 and loved it. The problem is finding a good location to install because you would need two of them or a custom exhaust with one in order to make it work. True dual exhaust probs...

I was thinking between the CAT and the muffler, straight exhaust pipe.
I know about the bypass pile, but I like the idea to quickly change the sound without install and uninstall the muffler and bypass pipe

(Not does it matter but in Ontario every car has to have a muffler in stalled)

I wouldn't use that...just my opinion. Better doing the PSE/Gundo/Fisters hack.

I say go for it and let me know how it goes!

Any particular reason?

I had an electric cutout on my last turbo car and it was incredible. So much fun to romp on it with the valve wide open and hear it scream, or you can open it just a hair and get a little bit of rumble. Full close is back to stock sound.

I basically just swapped out my downpipe and ran it off that. The rest of my system was stock.
