Question Reason why break-in went from 1k mi to 2k mi?

Is there something that's different about the 3.6l or could it be the dreaded RMS problem? Any thoughts or insider info? (I'm 700 miles into my break-in).

We break in the cars up to 1k here but as for your question wouldnt a lot of us like to know what Porsche is doing.
