Under driver side dash. upper right from fusebox.
Has number 191 on it. Leave hazard on and reach underneath. You can feel around and 1 of the square relays will be "clicking"

Thanks just as you guys mentioned it was there in plain sight. #191. I replaced the front turn signal lights with 1156 LED (CREE) Ambers and they are nice and bright. Rather than do resistors to fix the hyperflashing I'm swapping out the signal relay. Ordered a replacement on ebay. The single bulb LEDs are clear so this gets rid of the yolking in the signal housing.

Awesome. I had to do the same thing when I changed over to LED headlights and tail lights.

Thanks again guys I installed some Cree Amber LED signals and the relay. The turn signal area is clear now with no yellow yolk reflection and it looks very modern when it lights up. I imagine I can disconnect the resistors that came with the Dectane rear LED tails.the new relay is a little quieter too.

What is meant by this quote above? I wanted to change out my flashers to a type that shows white (as running lights) when not flashing, but flashes orange when the turn signals are used. The way the bulb fits into the assembly made me think twice about tackling the conversion.

PS - I had the same issue with the HID version of the H3 (Fog) and the retainer clip mismatch.

Sorry for the delay. I just bought these off of ebay and have been happy. The are not insane bright but certainly bright enough. You do have to file off one of the pins to make it work as the 1156 has a different pin orientation.

Mine operate strictly as turn signals no DRL. What is meant is there is no yellow reflection inside the turn signal section of the lens. A stock incandescent bulb will have a yellow reflection.

You can buy direct replacement ones where you don't have to file a pin off...

PY21W is the correct bulb to look for
