I agree, if money is not a factor. You'll pay a premium for the Mezger based cars. However, if miles are not a problem, you can find many 996 Turbo cars in the low to mid 30K range. All depends on your budget and expectations.

Just after completing purchase 01 996TT 110k - no lights / everything works / recent service ... smiles all the way home. |
Smart. Forget the 996 if the 996TT is achievable.
Now go change the oil and put some good stuff in it. Euro penzoil 5W-40W is what I used on 9X6 or 9X7 |

Great looking 996 turbo with the correctly shaped front headlights! ha! Love the smoked turbo twists... makes the car look aggressive! I'm sure you're going to have fun with this one and it being a mezger engine, it should give you many MANY more miles of smiles!

Thank you! I'm guessing it's gonna take a while for the smile to wear off my face.

Congrats on the purchase! They pop up but rare. Most seem to be selling north of $40,000. |

I looked pretty hard for a couple months before I picked up my C4S. Seemed like all the decent tt’s with 50-70k miles were in the mid $40s range. I believe the cheapest TT on car gurus is $32k and even it has 138k miles. Prices seem very stable at this time if not appreciating somewhat. People better take advantage while they can! But I personally would pay a premium for a nicer well maintained car then trying to find the cheapest in the country. OP’s car looks nice! |
