I've installed the TrafficPro in a 996 before and know that the little GPS antenna goes on top of the dash under the center of the windshield -- anyone know if an XM antenna would receive a signal there? Thinking if so it would be incredibly easy to install an XM-enabled head unit in my 996.

I have a 996 Cab, so antenna placement took a little thought. I ended up putting in GPS, XM and the garage door opener all under the cowling for the wiper blades on the passenger side. It all works great and you cannot see a thing.

I put my SIRI antenna next to the factory antenna. No problems. I had it in the back but once I had tint applied to the glass it blocked the signal. Had to move it to the front.
