Question on Spacers w/ PSS9's
I'm going to install some PSS9's on my 03 C4S, but have 7mm spacers on the fronts. I think I remember someone on this forum somewhere saying it might be a problem for the spacers if you lower the car w/ the PSS9's.
I know this may be a really stupid question to ask, but if anyone can advise I'd greatly appreciate it b4 I drop about $2-3K to get these installed and balanced. Thanks in advance everyone. Berk |
Totally depends on your wheels and the offsets. Since you have 19" SS's are they the same as factory offsets? Widths? Tire size? All that makes a difference...with that being said...on stock car, 7mm will not be an issue...if you are not ubbing now, you PROBABLY wont rub when lowered....but if it rubs...just take the spacers off...no brainer...7mm is not that big....

what he said, if it rubs, take them off...I think it will fit fine though... let us know how you make out, if you lower, you def will need to balance and align

Guys,
Thanks for the answers I was looking for. Right now, I'm not rubbing. I had to put the spacers on b/c the wheels were 19x8 and were rubbing against the brake caliper at certain angles. I had to push out the wheel to prevent them from rubbing. I'm hoping the lowering will set fine and def will get the car aligned and balanced. Truly appreciate the feedback guys. It was great. Check out this YouTube video of a guy that came to our meet in DC/VA/MD. This car was even sicker in person. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TjdMyNnQyRA |
