they're great...when clean. give it a drive or 2 and they willl be filthy. if the lip was rolled, it would be much better.

I dismantled my Fabspeed tips because i use the car in the winter and donīt want them to be corroded by the salt on the roads.

Itīs correct, after a few hot miles they are getting a little bit yellow, but i like the tone, so you can see that there is some energy in the back of your car . Hey itīs a tip.....

They are really good quality and very well made, i didnīt polished them before the pictures:

FWIW, I found the absolute best stuff to polish the tips with. I bought a pair of slightly used Fabspeed tips and tried everything in the world to get the yellow (burnt looking) discoloration off and discovered this stuff called Blue Magic Metal Polish Cream @ Auto Zone and I used one of those ball shaped polishers you put on a drill and holy cow this stuff took everything completely off and made them look brand spank me new again. Now put a little rejex on it and you are in business.

I've been thinkin of ordering a set for myself....here's a stupid question...how easy it to intsall them on the 997 Turbo's enclosed bumper? Does the black pipe frame just pop out?

My only problem with FabSpeed tips was alignment. First attempt resulted my tips pointing almost sideways:

After loosing up the muffler connection I managed to line them up a bit better:

But still I have this feeling my other tip is somewhat limb and pointing sideways.

Anyway: A++ class craftmanship and superior look. Recommend to all 997TT's.

Their tips are first class. Nothing better than American craftmanship.
