I received word last night my car is on the Sagittarius Leader, due to dock in San Diego on 12/26 - Santa almost made it! Does anyone know how to track the location of the transport ship? Jeezus, I hate this waiting. I ordered the TT the day I picked up my 2006 C2S from the WA dealer - 6/3/06....an 18 month wait!

My HRE P40's are on order and should be waiting for the white TT. I can hardly wait to see how the black deviating carpets go with the natural gray leather interior.

Unfortunately there seems to be no reliable way to "track" the ship these days. It sounds like you alreaady know when it's due to arrive at port so nothing you can do but wait.

Any chance that we can meet up when you're driving down? I'd LOVE to see how that black carpeting looks against natural grey leather.

I had to edit my original post - the ship allegedly docks on 12/26 in San Diego. I've got a biz trip to HKG on 1/19, so I won't know for sure if I'm going to be able to p/u the TT in Bellingham before leaving for Hong Kong - or after my return.

One way or the other I'd be delighted to meet up somewhere in the PNW!

Your port most likely has a website with scheduled ship arrivals. I found this to be pretty accurate for the Port of Houston.

 

When I was tracking the arrival of my ship, I used this website:

Keep me posted, Dick, on what you end up doing. Hopefully you're able to take delivery of your 997TT before you leave for Hong Kong. Although on the other hand, the weather might be pretty foul then so it might actually be better to take it home after you return.

 

Take it to Ultimate sheild in Orange Calif for the clear bra ( venturesheild )

Or maybe you could stop by Metropolitan Detail on your way down and have them put on Ventureshield before you make the long trek down.
