Pic: Porsche Turbo - There Is No Substitute (With HRE P40)
Thanks for the kind remarks. And yes, how did you know I am a Ferrari wannabe (did you read my post somewhere else?)?
The color choice was never in question, red with beige interior.
Re. painted lip, yes I did think about it. In fact, during the "planning phase" for the car I must have gone back and forth between painted and non painted 20 times. LOL. In the end, I decided to leave it unpainted because otherwise car just looks too red to my eyes, without enough black contrast (strictly personal preference here, YMMV). In addition, that front lip gets mangled easily and frequently and I felt painted would show the battle scars too much (another YMMV).
FWIW, I believe the Porsche GT3 has similar treatment (painted rocker panels, unpainted front lip).

Thanks. My camera is Canon 1D, lens Canon 85 f/1.2. The wide angle shot (first shot) is with Contax Distagon 21mm f/2.8, used with a Contax-Canon lens adapter. I shot in RAW format, developed with Capture One/Phase One.

The car is still the perfect set up to me! Congrats on choosing the BOLD colors

Oh and yes, I didn't even realize your Ferrari comment wasn't in this post! If it's possible to keep the tan clean (which on a non daily and/or with dedication, it should be) I think red and tan is very hot. Such a "summer time" color combo!
