Wow the car looks fantastic! Great choice all around How come you didn't get the work done at CEC as they are North America's TechArt distributor. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Keith,

The car looks amazing, I was almost sure you were going to leave this one looking "stock" like the 6, glad to see you didnt. Once again great job. Enjoy this one.

Hi all, why do some of you go with 8.5x20 in the front and 12x20 in the back and others use 9x20 in front & 12x20 in back. what is the correct setup? Does the ratio matter? I'm shopping for some new grips.

You just need the clear side markers, then it's perfect.

Nice. Techart is a quality kit, really adds downforce and is tested. In the 996TT the Type I performs nicely on the Autobahn with a proper suspension ( = I see a corner ahead but decide to slow down only to 325km/h )

Just add clear side markers and you are ready

I don't buy ever heavier wheels to performance cars but don't worry too much about the added weight with new wheels, only few seem to reveal this...

With that kind of weight difference and huge power you won't notice it. the 20" wheels with a tiny sidewall affect more to handling.

If you would be going for a lightweight track Turbo, the car would look a bit different so don't worry.

Looks great. I am now in search of a white 997TT to replace my 996TT I love the clean lines of the TechArt Type 1. How are the Pirelli treating you? More pics of that house too!
