Thats the problem. I do know how to program it. Like I have stated - it seems the valantine one has marginly the best performance over the top end escort - however - the draconian looks of it, the constant flashing and the very fact you have to mess around programming it (assuming you get it right) puts it, in my opinion, low on the list. Not to mention the fact that I live in near 4 states - some of which have different radar sources. I dont have the time or inclination to program it when entering the different states. And I am constantly forgetting where the speed cameras are - which of course it doesnt warn you on - unlike the escort.

All I am stating is that I purchased it, tried it, didnt like it. Thats all. I am sure if you like the looks of it and your in one particular state - then all is well. For me, just didnt work.
