Just wanted you to know Aaron, that I just picked up a 08 B Black 997TT 6 speed and I am having the SPI 800 package (which is a pump gas version of the Sledge) installed. So thanks for this thread as it did put me over the edge.

My car is the regular black, not the Basalt Black. I prefer regular black over Basalt, when its clean, although Basalt looks better dirty.

I hear you man. Nothing like pure black when its clean and waxed. My GL450 is normal black and nothing is better/deeper than when a fresh detail is applied.
