You know the economy is so bad and most buyers arnt receiving their cars and you should simply take advantage of it. I already got $5k under sticker. You guys are always reffering to pcna and didn't notice that I'm in the UAE. Btw the warranty given here is only 2 years unlimited milage. I'll keep you updated guys
i personally think you would of been better off by asking for a discount and negotiating it instead of demanding for one. if not you, then somebody will be there right behind you ready to buy that car and the dealer not loosing much or not loosing anything.

What possible inherent long term nagging problem could there be? If there is an issue they replace the parts with new factory parts, end of story. The clutch has nothing to do with any other part on the car.

The car being devalued is ridiculous. It's amazing that the dealer even said anything.
Maybe the dealer said something because it is a law in that state and MAYBE we have us an HONEST dealer here. Wouldn"t you like to know of ANYTHING, little or big, that came from the factory not 100% right, especially after spending well over 100k? I just don't understand the above attitude unless someone is so loaded that they just don't care

Today i had a conversation with the sales guy and he had the final offer ready. There was a further discount of $3K only ! Unfortunatley i'm not going to take the car and i'll have the full refund. There is another manual TT available at the dealer but the color doesnt suit me. At the mean time, i'm looking into 3 cars. The mercedes C63 AMG, the Audi R8 and the Nissan GTR. I understand their not comparable but cars are all about taste. What do you think guys?

my 2 cents, i think the decision you made was one that probably you will regret in the future. you have/had your car to your liking and am now giving it back because of a minor mechanical failure that has cost you nothing at all. you already mentioned how you got it for 5k under cost and are/were given an extra 3k less for it, again for something that has cost you absolutely nothing. i dont get it.

Good point ! Actually Luxery cars are not moving from dealerships due to current economic conditions. I always have the right to buy the car. What made me hesitate more is that the facelifted turbo will be available at September.

I too had a mechanical 'issue' just after taking possession of the sled. I understand your mental position completely ... but yours isn't anywhere near what mine was. I tend to follow the advice of most posts and say take the extra discount and bargain for a bit more.
3 grand is OK, but they can add a year or two warranty on the tranny too. If they won't/don't ... then ask for an additional grand or two.
Whatever they offered ... they can offer more. Get away from the Sales Agent and go find the General Manager. This is the person who can approve the extra discount and/or the extended warranty.
Hope this helps.

You can not fill the gap with a different car but you can't buy the one which has doubts either .

That defective Turbo is not the ONLY 997tt in the universe . There are others and you may have to search a little but I think youll end up with a car .

What colors options are you looking for ? Is the car you ordered that rare to find?
