TT may have to go :>((
TT may have to go :>((
After 1 glorious year with my TT, I may have to let it go as I am going to leave SoCal and reside full time at my home on Flathead Lake in Montana. Sadly, I have a long unpaved access road to my unpaved driveway there, and the last time I had my e39 M5 up there it was almost impossible to keep from high centering it, even with its stock ride height. The nearest dealer is in Spokane WA, a dreary 300 miles. I could leave the TT in my airplane hangar in town and commute back and forth the 5 miles in my truck, but the logistics of keeping the car in the hangar during the summer, and not being able to drive it at least 5 months of the year due to really nasty weather are pointing towards selling it. I've been reluctant to reach a final decision, but living on the beautiful lake outweighs the fun drives in the TT. Has anyone here faced not being able to keep their TT at home for road/driveway/weather considerations? Any suggestions on how to sell an expensive car like a TT?

nothing worse than a depressed di.. did I almost say that? I better check my meds...if you do decide you need to sell and you don't have 100 posts yet..pm me and I'll approve it for ya...hope you don't have to tho...
I sold a 997S at the height of local xenon theft . The stress of keeping it exceeded the reward ... so I thought .
18 months later I was back in a Porsche .
I missed it so much . Every day without it was somehow compromised by its loss .

I've spent summers there since I bought the home and built my hangar in 1989 - it is where I want to spend my time. Come see me up there Bill - your Mustang will fit in the hangar, and the guy next to me has a big engined L-29 we can fly - 530 MPH !!
