Closer... closer... closer. Trust me it is killing me! But Jason our master fabricator is kicking ass! He will have the Ypipe completed today to work with our Carbon Fiber Air Intake or the OEM intake and factory boost hoses. We wanted to keep all parts modular. You can also see the intercoolers are in place and the new oil and water lines are attached. Soon!

See the post above this one? If you want to run REAL Garrett turbos, the stock Porsche fittings wont work. We converted to AN fittings. The blue lines are the water lines to go to the Garrett turbos. They will be shortened.

Closer... Closer...
Oil lines and waterlines completed. Intake parts about to go in place. http://www.vividracing.com/forums/ga.../IMG_3819a.jpg http://www.vividracing.com/forums/ga.../IMG_3820a.jpg |
Making Progress! Those oil and waterline hookups look complicated! Any issues or concerns with long term reliability of those connections? Not implying their would be, I just have never seen anything quite like that before.
|
They look complicated, but they are not. They are just looped because of the length and angle of the fitting we used excess line. Also we will switch to steel braided ones after the dyno tune.
|
dan! another great looking project. I really enjoy reading these write ups you guys do. Thanks again!
|
Thanks for watching :)

Just need to add some oil, coolant, a BOV, and start her up :)
