HRE's and NEEZ in Japan, same thing?

Hi

I live in Japan and just got my HRE looking wheels from a company called NEEZ. They are very very light. Does anyone know if they are the same thing? Mine seems to have a deeper groove than the HRE ones.

Photos here

correction, after viewing photo mine is shallower and the nuts are showing more than the HREs.

They look 'kinda like' champion wheels to me, which I know are made in japan.

Those are knock offs of the BBS wheel that came on the E46 CSL M3.

Neez looks nice.

I think they look good.

Neez wheels are very strong. Made in the same plant as the Champion wheels. I think they look great on your car. What size and width did you choose?

They look great...I also had them on my e60 m5. Very strong wheel indeed!!!

Would love to see full pictures of your car in good light; I've seen the Neez QD7 before but this is the first time on a Turbo.

Along with the Manthey wheel the Neez QD7 was my most favorite, and I used to sit and stare at it seemingly for hours. :D I didn't get it because in the US it's much more expensive than competitors and then the HRE P40 came out.
BTW, is it TPMS compatible and the offsets work out OK? You don't need spacers?

As already mentioned, Neez and HRE are 2 different wheels from 2 different companies. Esthetically, the differences are that Neez spokes appear more linear (HRE more curvaceous), the Neez spokes are closer together, the Neez outer rim is thicker, and the Neez center "dive" does not appear to be as deep.

Very beautiful and very high quality wheels; congrats. Again more pictures if possible please.

They do look good ,that finish is very nice it looks a little different than the gloss charcoal hre finish and more like the bbs wheel iv'e seen in that finish, only thing i don't like is how the lugs stick out.

Thanks for such clear insight. You probably know more about this subject than anyone I know.

Yes, I will post more pics in daylight. On description, you are are right on all counts.

1- no spacers were needed, put back on my RE050, same rotation diameter and all. Initially had the diff make a noise like when you put on the 20's but it was gone in about 1 min, so I think I don't have this problem.

2- We transfered the TPMS, but the factory 19 had a cut to make the sensors sit on a flat area, whereas the NEEZ did not have this cut, only the hold and I am getting errors on the TPMS, which is something i need to redo. It could be that the tire guy might have put it on opposite direction.

I get a reading like "req." "2.7" "-0.5" or "Flat"

(My apologies if this was discussed in another thread already)

I am off to Fuji Speedway for a car festival and will post some new pics here later as well.

Yes, I was a little sad to see those lugs sticking out. Now I need to either paint them or buy some fancy ones.

nice wheels

Size is 19". 20 is not advised by many Forum posts, OK if no circuit and same diameter rotation speed, otherwise breaks the diff over time.
