Yes, Pistons are out getting coated. Should be in the car by the end of the month.

That is the plan, however if we get down to the wire with getting customer cars done, mine is the first to get cut. As of right now, it is part of the 5 car lineup of cars to go to Texas.

Any Updates?

 

The project has been on hold for a few months due to other engines that needed to be completed. We recently delivered a 1000 HP 3.8L 997TT engine which we tested at the 1/4 mile and ran 9.90 @ 149+ MPH. We have another 997TT that is being completed next week that has our billet crank and 850 HP upgrade. The 4.0L is getting assembled next week and our plan is to get it to Texas for the mile. We have 3 customer engines to complete in 3 weeks and 5 cars to build so we will have to see if we can get the 997 done as well. I will update the thread as we get more completed in the next few days.

Just curious about how an 850-1000hp 997tt feels as a DD...

 

Some awesome looking hardware in this engine. Will the same kit be available for a 996 engine?

 

Thank you! These components are available for the 996TT platform as well as the 996/997 GT3's. We are building a 996 GT2 like this as we speak.
