Pictures of Werks1 Carbon Fiber Y-pipe Installed on EVT700 Car @ SharkWerks
Hey folks we've had a lot of fun building this 2009 EVT700 / TechArt Type II 997TT and this week she came in for one or two final touches
I say final....We installed the Champion Motorsports' Carbon Fiber Y-pipe kit which fit just like factory. It's made from 100% pre-impregnated carbon fiber material and should also help reduce intake temps (and yes it looks nice!). Another benefit of this new product is the substantial loss of weight. At just 0.5lb., this new product weighs in a full 2lbs less than the OEM component.

Once again, you seem to always have some beautiful projects! The CF Y pipe looks awesome but I was wondering if you could show some side shots... I would like to see more fotos of tthe rear end from different angles.
Have a boosted day

And when using CF the intake temps won't be as high that's for sure
I know the Champion guys have done some testing on the EVT700 cars they've built and seen some small gains but yes it's certainly bling:P
Hey Robmd99, thanks so much for saying that and I'll show you guys some more pix...
It sure does eh? Folks always say our Porsches look so boring in the engine bay
Heheh I'm back to my roots on that eh? You're in good hands with your rocket-ship... You get ruined in 800hp la-la-land
