Is ownership just going to be "nice" or is it going to be "I didn't know what I was missing"?

Bob in NY Nov 5, 2009 09:12 PM

Definitely "I didn't know what I was missing" You will feel like it's a well kept secret that only few mortal men know about. When you push the accelerator it automatically make you grin!! Go ahead and try it.....Congrats!! Post pics when you get her, lets hear some details too.

I will definitely post pics. It's dark blue, with sand and chocolate brown interior, painted seat backs, deviated stiching, and lots of aluminum.

Congrats on your incoming 08. I still find myself looking in the garage because I can't believe how lucky I am to own a 997 turbo. I had mine over a year and I still look in the garage and smile.hilarious

Now I'm driving an E46 M3 that I'll be using as my DD for the forseeable future. It's got 49,000+ miles and it's still a really nice machine. I see you are also of that persuasion. :D

I know the feeling, kind of like a kid before Christmas! Good luck sleeping the night before it arrives...;-)

Congradulations!!!
I'm also waiting delivery on a new 08. Just hope you get it in a more timely manner. Mine took f o r e v e r to get picked by a shipper that wasn't going to SEMA. Then the driver got what he thought was the flu in Tennessee, but when a replacement driver was flown in he had to take the guy to the hospital for heart problems. Now it's FINALLY headed west, I think. They won't let me follow it on their tracking systen because it's in the company of a $1.7MM Bugatti Veryon.I hope my poor baby isn't feeling too ghetto. Sorry for the venting.:(
I know it's worth the wait.
