**Tire Suggestions, it's about that time

Besides the Mich PS2's......is there anything cheaper that people have used that are happy with? Road noise and dry tractioin is the most important.

Thank you all....and who has gone away from PS2's and wish they didn't?

The Bridgestone RE-11's have been getting good reviews. I have not used them personally, I have PS2's. But I have read that the Bridgestone are stickier and make slightly more road noise. Evidently $100 cheaper per tire. And then there are Sumitomo HTR Z 3's. Way cheaper and quiet, but not exactly up to the level of the PS2's. Good luck.

One of the biggest improvements you can make to your car is a good set of tires.

Most cars come with less than good so its real easy to make an improvement.

Porsche doesn't compromise; thus the cost of the original purchase. Why pay the dollars for such a great car and then downgrade it?

If you are looking though to save a few bucks and are not using the potential of your car, then I would suggest looking at the Tire Rack site. Put in your car, then type of driving and then compare what is available.

Best tool I ever used. :)

I've used the PS2s MPSC R888 RE-11 & Invos.

The RE-11s are more of a track oriented tire and will hydroplane easier in the rain.

If you are looking for a good street tire as an alternative to the PS2s at a lower price point I really liked the Nitto Invos. They cost about $700 a set cheaper and I've used them both on the street and on the track and they have very similar performance to the PS2s.

Hankook Ventus V12 EVO...that is what is going on mine when the PS2's are gone.
