Aftermarket suspension kits compatible with PASM
let me know how the KWv3's ride out of the box on soft settings if you test it and dont change the standard rate.
I think going non PASM but having more adjustability will allow me to find that 'just right' setting with this setup. But I dont want its softest setting to be something crazy like sport mode on stock springs which was ridiculously jarring.

Yeah none except PSS10. I have had my PASM disabled for almost 2 years now. A skilled driver like you does not need PASM to get "soft" or "hard" on the fly adjustments. You need for the track a coilover that gives you independent rebound and compression adjustments to dial in for road racing.
you are right about the track...However drive for a few days on the roads of Athens and you will love PASM normal mode...

I have left the stock springs on there. I talked to Klaus the owner of KW in germany today. He gave me some recommendations on settings. Anywhere you look, you will read that the KW V3 out of the box rides better then OEM but when put to the test, out handles it by far. The difference between KW and most suspension companies (not saying Bilstein, but off the shelf standard brands) is the engineering and testing behind them. I have used almost all of the standard types of suspension: JIC, H&R, Bilstein, Tein, Cusco, KSport, and now KW. Obviously Moton and JRZ are in another league. Now I sell alot of Bilstein PSS10 cause many people want to keep PASM and it is a GREAT coilover. For the price, I think KW is a great alternative. I advise you to layout your plan of what you want to use the car for mainly. Coilovers wont be the only defining fact in your handling.

As bbywu mention, TPCRacing does produce an aftermarket PASM compatible shock. This shock is based upon the Bilstein PSS PASM setup.
However, with our huge background in motorsports, we've retuned the shocks to provide are far superior ride to the standard Bilstein PASM Coilover.
With our revised spring rates your car will be comepletely transformed. Your street mode will be tightened up and will provide you with much better feedback while still maintain a comfortable ride. It will feel similar to your stock sport mode setting. When you switch to sport mode, the car will become an animal capable of deourving corners and taking seconds off of your lap times.
We do recommend these shock be used in conjuction with our TPCRacing Sway Bars and the necessary drop links and toe links. However, this system does make an outstanding improvement to the handling of your vehicle on its own.
If you have any questions about what it takes to setup a suspension for a comfortable street ride, and for tearing it up at the track, give us a call. We have 20+ years of Porsche racing experience with lots of wins.
